VMworld 2017: VxRack SDDC 2. and VMware Cloud Basis 2.2


VxRail’s “bigger sibling” VxRack SDDC just also got greater, more robust.

In a simple sentence: VxRack SDDC is for purchaser who have standardized on VMware, are prepared for community transformation with NSX and the actual physical community all in the process and lifecycle management (LCM) scope.

When I say “bigger sibling” – I don’t imply scale.  We have VxRail consumers with hundreds on hundreds of appliances in a one datacenter.   HCI Appliances can scale as major as you want.   “Bigger” in this context suggests that it is for consumers prepared for NSX, and prepared to glance at the community as aspect of their process.  

Of course, there is a correlation with scale and consumers imagining about community as “in scope”, but it is not causal.
